    DRK Dark Arts Ability issues.

    Hey all,

    So on HW launch the ability "Dark Passenger" with dark arts would apply Blind to all mobs it would hit, Since one of the updates (unsure what one yet) it now only applies the blind to the first enemy it hits, IMO this is kinda huge since I use to use it almost as a defensive CD and now its almost useless if there are more then one mob. On a side note, I also experimented with "Abyssal Drain" and Dark arts, its also has the same issue at the moment where the Heal it triggers only calculates the damage of the first mob hit.

    the question I have is, Was this in any of the hotfixes or is it bugged? At the moment I am leaning towards the ladder (at least it better be).

    Any thoughts or input would be great.

    It just got fixed.

    An issue wherein the dark knight action "Dark Arts" would only apply its additional effect to a single target when used in area-of-effect attacks.

    Just how long will it take them to fix the Darkside aura? 2 separate reports were moved to the accepted bugs forums since 2 weeks ago and still no fix.

    I hope they finally fix it on the next patch.

    Well I'm glad they at least fixed the DA bugs...was kind of priority...but yeah, was really hoping for the darkside aura to get sorted too, like you say especially after its been in two accepted bugs posts.

    The aura change would be nice. I bet they didn't change it yet because of the complaints that the red aura is too big.
    It would probably be easy to add the black flames back, but they might be changing the red aura a little since they acknowledged the complaint thread.
    If that's the case, it's no wonder it didn't make it for this tiny patch since it would turn from a bug fix to a real visual change.
    It's also an entirely cosmetic issue, so it's probably not on the first line of things to get out.

    I'm surprised the MP drain isn't touched though. Would think that would be a priority too.

    Yeah, I think the aura thing is just probably low down on priority - and perhaps the MP drain from darkside (HoT issue) is a more complex issue that just couldn't be fixed in time for today - still, I think DRK will be perfectly serviceable in Alex NM - seems to be pretty easy from what I've heard. I just reallly hope they get this sorted for savage, or it may start to become frustrating.

    The positive is that both these issues have been acknowledged, so it should just be a matter of time.
