Drk's have hardly ANY burst at all, don't quite understand why people act like they do. Carve & Spit is not burst when Souleater hits nearly the same amount, over and over and over again, every Dark Arts. Hell it's on a 60 second cooldown, and it's the ONLY off GCD skill we have that hits as hard as it does.

As opposed to all those off GCD power hits that WAR has; Brutal Swing and Mercy Stroke.

I'm not comparing it to Warrior.

Just because 1 class has an off GCD hard hitting attack doesn't mean it's a burst class.

Just as you don't NEED off gcd's to have burst. (But lets not just act like Wars crazy damage buffs don't exist)

Drk damage is streamlined, unless you're for whatever reason sitting at MP cap and being very, very picky on when to DA a souleater. In which case you're screwing your own DPS.

Strange how these numbers are getting higher and higher. Do they have ilvl 200 gear or something?

10k - 15k is easily achievable with 20% Echo. That's likely where people are getting those numbers from.
