    Law Farming

    Just FYI from my perspective...

If you have hit 60 and are ready to farm law tomes out of interest in i170/i180, you might start with the hunts first. You need a considerable amount of Centario Seals and you will gain Law Tomes from HW hunts.

Oh, do your daily hunts as well!

Too bad hunts are an awful system and only doable during the server down time when most people are asleep. I can't bring myself to bother diving into that cesspool.

I can't do hunts, since load screens = I'll never make it in time.

I'm thinking I'll just take it easy with the daily hunt board, that's 870 seals a week doing that. You'll be able to upgrade several pieces a week just doing the dailies, the whole right side can be upgraded in a single week.

If you do all 4 of your roullettes is several hundred tomes a day on its own, more than enough for a piece of gear or two... I don't really see why hunts would be a "good" option to farm law tomes, even if you rode the "a rank" train and hit all of them you are getting 40 tomes per over the course of several hours.... Meanwhile I can spend 40 minutes doing expert roulletes and get 160 plus. Trial roullette takes 10-20 min and will net you 80.

If we are talking just farming law tomes I don't think hunts are a very efficient way of doing that.

What's wrong with them, besides so many people showing up 2 minutes after the call that the mob and half the players vanish, and they get blown up in 10-20 seconds?

Wonder what SE says during meetings about hunts, someone has had to say "it makes a negative play environment that not all machines can experience due to loading times, it is not challenging and the most interaction is teleporting - frustration if you don't have the ability to generate a lot of hate" "Sold! Lets keep using this content exactly as is".

I mean I know its not, because that'd be insane, but personally wish seals could be obtainable elsewhere because I nearly loathe the content (leve like hunts?!).

I'm actually surprised that the devs STILL lean on the hunt system to serve such an important function. Given how easy hunts are, why not just make seals available from doing all levels of roulette?

You can't complain TOO much about hunts anymore. They REALLY improved the daily reward for centurios as opposed to the old hunt seals. A hundred a day or so is a good number for not actually hunting A and S ranks. Can hunts be improved? Of course they can, but they still have done a good job making on easing up a little bit for non hunters.

The first lv 60 dungeon is doable just fine with the gear you gain up to that point (assuming you pick the HQ items as rewards). Its what I farmed for awhile alongside hunts, though I also am a healer and got lucky with several "First time bonus" tomes. However the next two dungeons, that is open for debate as at ilv152 I still felt a bit unprepared for the final bosses.
