    You do hunts because
    a. It's easier than instance (requires no skill or gear what so ever).
    b. You get seals AND tomes, by the time you can afford your first ilv170 you can make it 180 immediately.
Once you got enough seals to upgrade all your gear slots you switch over to instance/roulette and already with a bunch of ilv180 to boot.

    No time wasted.

Except they are so boring (imo) and dungeons are fun, so Id actually say that hunts are time wasters.

Id rather have fun and be 10ilvls below everyone else tbh but Id say the majority of the playerbase dont agree since shout is filled with INVITE ME PLEASE IM HEALER (doesnt sound desperate at all..)

Hunts aren't even that good as a farming method imo. Except the A and S Ranks in the new 3.0 areas, they drop a lot of Centurio Seals.

Currently you can net 110 Centurio Seals a day, and 870 in a week, that's almost enough to upgrade 3 items.

Law farming is easy with 420 tomes a day through roulettes, 460 if somebody is new to the Expert dungeon.

Whereas you're looking at 10 Law per Hunt kill. Good luck killing 46 A Rank mobs in a day ^^

OP wasn't stating you should farm your law with hunts, though. He was pointing out that without the Centurio Seals that are only available from hunts, all the Law tomes in the world won't get you any higher than i170. The fact that hunts also give you law (albeit a smaller amount) is a nice bonus. Honestly, I'm glad we have 110 seals a day guaranteed. I tend to try to use the hunts to earn exp on a secondary class too, since you still get the same seal reward.

What ever happened to them just keeping vanity items in there for glamour? why force hunts down people's throat for end game content? It pisses off the raiders to be forced to hunt and pisses of the regular hunters to now be forced to show up at a zone in 30 seconds after announcement to even get credit. What I believe they should do is allow us to use GC seals to buy these instead using just hunt seals. Now don't get me wrong.. If I was SE I would not make it too easy for them to farm seals. It would be like 1 upgrade for 30k seals. This wont solve the problem of face pull hunts, but it will atleast give us the option to choose.

Just do the daily/weekly hunts solo..

If you have been doing them every day you would be done before any real content is out, and wouldn't have to do a single A or S hunt.

I've been just doing my roulette and the level 60+ dungeons that yield 80, given people are still leveling there are constantly new people in every dungeon netting me 120 tomes per run.

The two expert dungeons give 160 gear and 80 tomes. They are fairly easy, but not mind-numbingly easy. The required 145 is doable, but may be too low if everyone is 145 unless they are good. Getting the 160 gear while farming tomes is quite nice.

Seals are easily gained from your daily mark bills. Hunts are good for gaining upgrades quickly, but getting the 170 gear faster is my preference.

Meh - cap centurio seals gained per week to X amount and call it a day. Hunts will be viable then and not a zerg fest all day long every day. After X amount of weeks remove the cap.

Daily hunt marks earns around 110 seals a day, also the weekly B rank hunt mark adds another 100. There is no reason to force self to do A or S ranks unless your very impatient. Take also into account you can start farming seals way before hit 60, like 54 I think which can use and stock up on components need for later so by time hit 60 should already have some components. Accessory components from seals only cost 150 each, armour only costs 300 each and weapon costs 395 I think so it's not very expensive. Do not leave it till hit 60 before start gaining seals, you can start at 54 unlocking tier 1 marks, tier 2 I think at 56 and tier 3 at 58, 60 unlocks the B rank tier.
