First of all, I'm not asking you to incriminate yourself. I'm trying to understand how you can say your MCH friend does enormous DPS without any logical proof (nevermind numbers).

Ok so he out DPS'd a mnk at 50. Back in 2.0 gear Monks and Drgs were doing around 600+ dps if I'm not mistaken. Currently, MCHs at 60 are recording 800-900 for their DPS. Mnks and Drgs are currently recording 1200-1400 dps consistently, at the same item level, in dungeons. If your level 50 MCH out dps's MNKs at 60, please report back here.

Your friend did this buffed. So basically, for us to do damage, we have to have a pocket AST to buff us at all times, babysit us with their cards regardless of the other dps in the party. Still, even in the best of circumstances, that's pretty unrealistic for MCH's to sustain considering other DPSers can pull much higher numbers without mentioning the need of an AST.

Whenever you get a chance, it'd be great to ask your friend's rotation so players can test it out.

You're right using the term babysitting because thats what it basically is. I'm not denying theres issues with the class. I'm mearly stating that it's not nearly as bad as it could be and people need to relax with the freakout threads.

Saying the class is completely broken and unplayable like a ton of these htreads are, isn't going to get the class fixed at all.

You've obviously not read my other thread or other posts. I post data that has been recorded, suggested fixes, and in those posts are rotations. Not to mention the recorded data so far does suggest it is that bad. I don't post my own b/c I don't go so far as to say I know more about this class than those that are actually testing it.

If you think these are rant threads, then sure, I could see that. However, in these threads are precious arguments that prove far more than just player frustration. Maybe you'd do well to read those arguments before coming into these threads to criticize other people's observations who actually play the class and test it.

I apologize for sounding so harsh, but your post read incredibly rude and blatantly disrespectful to those who have a serious passion for this class with the evidence to back their claims.

If you're interested in reading evidence, here's my thread with posts to reddit threads.

If you feel the arguments presented don't have merit, then please refer to them and discuss how these arguments are flawed. However, I only ask that you actually read the entire argument. Examine the evidence that is presented or logical issues within the problem that is being questioned.
