Welp... I don't have my Collector's edition yet but had EA.... this is really really bad business! So I can't even access my account now.

I guess I dodged a bullet. I didn't get the CE, just the standard one, and got my game on the 23rd. Yeah the code(two actually for different purposes) are in the box.
Didn't get any e-mail either.
The way to fix this would be to extend the early access period and next time ship the game much earlier.

You live outside of the US, shipping for anything outside of the US takes a long time. Especially when Customs is involved. When it comes to physical shipping, always expect delays and holdups. I don't know why anyone even buys physical anymore. Digital has become the ultimate convenience. SE said the Early Access period would be a short time, why would anyone expect them to extend it when they gave the information? Honestly, it's the buyer's fault for choosing the more inconvenient method. Why should they rectify your mistake?

Physical is incredibly unreliable explicitly because of shipping. The only time you should buy physical if you're getting the game at your local retailer. That's the only time it should be a feasible choice. Otherwise, buy digital. And from what I'm hearing about the physical CE, it wasn't even worth shelling out the extra money for. I'm honestly glad that I bought Digital.

No, it doesn't. I run an eBay store and ship things internationally on a fairly regular basis, and even with just First Class mail, I can't remember the last package I sent anywhere that took more than 7-10 days to arrive. I just shipped something to Sweden the other day and it was there in about a week.
Going from the US to Canada takes a week or less, customs included. It's perfectly reasonable for them to expect to receive their package in time because nine times out of ten, they will.

And Early Access ran for more than a week. Which is plenty of time for people to get their packages. SE held up their end, why should they be expected to continue the service for a minority? Is my job entitled to give me more hours because I showed up late one day? No, they're not. It's my mistake, I suffer for it. Same rule applies. Shipping a physical item is a tricky situation. There are so many variables involved that it's not even possible to know when something will arrive. For all they know, their package may not even come at all. What then? That's not SE's fault.
The times I have pre-ordered physical I've always received the product in good time before launch. Heck, I'm in Europe and haven't received mine either which was shipped from the UK and should've taken a week tops. Most likely SE screwed up their paper work. It wouldn't have been a problem had they only shipped a week earlier on than they did like any sane company would. Instead they ship on the basis of estimated time of arrival which is almost never correct. The very least they could prolong the early access period for confirmed purchases.
I also like to have games in my shelf, is that a problem?

I'm suspecting SE screwed up on declaring the correct value for the customs forms. As I said, I ship things internationally on a regular basis as well as purchase things from abroad, and never once have I had a package get held up in customs. The only times I've ever heard of it happening were when the sender did not declare things properly on the customs form. There should be no issue if you're honest about the contents of a package and their value.
It's to be expected that a few packages will end up held up in transit for whatever reason. But when it happens to a large number of people, the company who shipped the items did something wrong.
