You can only do that because you built your pc. If you had bought one premade, then you would be in the same boat. The fact of the matter is that we can open up our macs and upgrade components too, but it isn't for amateurs. I don't mind voiding warranties from time to time. Still, not one bit of that matters. The only thing that does matter is that I paid $60 for a mac client that isn't worth $10.
