No more Accuracy on Healer's equipment

You are welcome to your straitjacket view of roles, but don't try to suggest to others that performing only the minimum expectation of your role is somehow a good and correct thing to do.

It wasn't really a suggestion... more of an acceptance of the fact that Square-Enix may not want Scholar, Astro, and White Mage to be doing anything other than healing when they are in groups at end game.

That said, I too plan on utilizing Crafted Accessories and putting Accuracy into the Materia Slots so as to make my life easier. Hopefully they didn't gimp the Accuracy Cap on the MND Accessories too badly.

Everyone else was being nice, you're being lazy if you don't dps while healing. Some fights its very much needed to push through a dps check.

It's not a BS line - it's reality. Why not use all tools at your disposal to get the group alive through the dungeon or raid as quickly as possible? If one SCH keeps everyone alive, and the other keeps everyone alive while adding 300 dps, who played SCH better? In raids, however, SCH dps is often more a function of how good the other healer is than how good the SCH is - but in dungeons it makes a huge difference in clear time and it's mainly all on your skill and desire to be as effective as possible.

And gear swapping for daily hard mod is annoying as hell.

I noticed that there isn't no more Accuracy on Healer's Equipment. Without we can't (expecially Scholars) do DPS on Alexander (for example).
In Final Coil we already missed so many times (with 408+ Acc).. now I have 350 Acc.. how can we try to do DPS if we really want?

While they've out-right stated that content isn't designed with Healer dps-ing in mind, they've also said they understand that progression groups use it to supplement their lower item levels in order to push content. I'm sure at some point they will give Healer's more accuracy.

I dont but if Final Coil was a DPS Check TOTALLY you think Alexander Savage will not? I guess it will be a DPS check harder then Final Coil IMHO. With iLv 110 (even 130 without Echo) kill Bahamut without seeing enrage was a dream and if a SCH wont do DPS maybe time never was enough. In many kill videos I saw enrage in T13 with SCH doing like 200-300 DPS. There must be a reason right?

To be clear - they stated that Coil wasn't designed with healer dps in mind - and healers adding dps enabled teams to clear faster than they had anticipated. It was a case of players being better and more resourceful than the dev team planned for. It is very possible that they have learned their lesson, and Alexander could be tuned to need some healer DPS - we don't know.

There is something going on with the ACC tuning though, too. For instance with no acc capped down to 50, we miss a ton in those hard mode dungeons. But with no acc on gear we still hit over 95% in the current EX dungeons. It is possible that our actual ht rate in the Alexander with no melds can be the same as no melds (or relic) in Coil despite the actual accuracy stat being much lower. Here's hoping, anyway.
