If I did not know any better, after reading the forums. I would swear that the famous community that pride itself in understanding would have went downhill. but nah, I think it is just a forum thing.

No one would play this game 10 years later if we didn't get any new skills though.

Cramming a bar full of abilities means nothing when half of them are superfluous or could be combined into more interesting things. Unless, I guess, all you care about is having 50 different flashy yet ultimately pointless animations to play
