Honestly, from 30 to 47 (level I am now) MCH puts out pretty damn good dps. The only people that have done more so far are just level sync'ed dps, in all of my dungeons. The opening burst is really sick, the aoe dps is great, and the sustained dps isn't anywhere near as bad as the rumors are making it seem. I'd say from low level to 50 they are probably one of the strongest dps, honestly. It has to just be their 50+ skills don't scale as nicely as the other stuff classes get so they "fall off" It's just lack of knowledge all around so far. Hopefully their stigma goes away after a little bit.

I'd like to see your numbers, and not just take your 'gut feeling' for it. The actual math, so far, is proving to be quite the opposite.

I didn't take any sort of screen shots during my leveling. To me it seems like everyone else is saying they do low dps because of 'gut feeling'. I know your typical pug dps is nothing to write home about, but I ran every dungeon on the way to 50 atleast 3 times (can only do so much before it gets boring for that level) and every single time the other MCH was horribly behind, or the other dps that I would get paired with was just behind a little my numbers. The only time someone would parse higher would be a highly level sync bard, or something. My only recent one since I can remember was last night in AV because I had a lvl 60 synced monk with some i180 weapon. On coin counter and the last boss I was maybe 25 dps behind, at lvl 49. Seems completely fine to me ALL the way to 50. ACT doesn't even pick up wildfire yet anyway, so thats a huge burst in the opening it isn't even taking account for, when their opening burst is already really high.

Edit: Quick 4 min dummy parse since I hit 50. Gear is just i86 with some random i115 whites I grabbed, but still stupid crap like lvl 28 necklace or lvl 37 wrist, with coliseum gear. Over 4 minutes it was 290 with no food, or party buff. Again, ACT doesn't pickup Wildfire yet so thats 2 uses that isn't even accounted for. If I was just straight i90 it seems like it'd be completely in line for a "support dps" Sure a monk or ninja will do a bit more at i90 but there is no way that is shit, its plenty for anything requiring i90. The problem is clearly post 50, I guess the newer toys don't compare as nicely as everyone else's new toys.
