True. But a possibility of getting slated is still better than total silence, which is almost an admission of guilt in itself. As a professional company, you'd be expected to take responsiblities for your mistakes. And being silent keeps your customers in the dark and confused.

I agree, I was more playing devil's advocate. And when it comes to the early access code there's no way anyone could take it for a free ride through HW because you had to have preordered HW to get the code to begin with, so that early access code is proof of purchase and I reckon they should just extend it by a weekend.
