The Warrior of Darkness [SPOILER]

I was honestly expecting a more "unique" take on the Warrior of Darkness... but now that I think about it I imagine the "heroes" from the end of 1.0 of the ARR video showing Bahamut laying waste to Eorzea who are regarded as the "Warriors of Light" and somehow ended up becoming the "Warriors of Darkness".

Honestly interesting, but it would've been interesting to see a doppelganger of our character at least or with their own unique outfit.

A part of me is guessing that the WoD is the WoL from 1.0 that went missing after the Calamity since the New Adventure WoL in 2.0 is the successors to the 1.0 Legacy WoL who is still presumed dead or missing.

However, that would cause a conflict of plot for Legacy players since the Legacy WoL is the WoL from 1.0 who has returned after going missing for 5 years.

If they do make the WoD the WoL of 1.0, SE will need to work around the plot for Legacy players and explain how the WoD can be the 1.0 WoL when the Legacy Player is the 1.0 WoL.

This has been my theory too, that the Warriors of Darkness are the pre-calamaity heroes whose names have been forgotten.

It would be awesome of they were shadow versions of us players, though. A Dark Dark Elf chasing a Dark Elf. Bring it on.

Though aren't Legacy Players really the Pre-Calamity Heroes whose names were forgotten due to what happened during the climax of Bahamut's attack?

How would that be exampled? That there were others (NPC) besides the Legacy Players that became Warriors of Darkness?

The Legacy player is A Warrior of Light from before the calamity, but not the only one, in fact, mentions of the warriors of light always refer to them in the plural, so there wouden't be that much workaround.
