I know that's sarcasm, but to be fair, you're not wrong.

I know I'm not; it's exactly why I'm sick and tired of this "xyz is optional" argument. It's like - something is optional, so nobody cares? Nobody should discuss it? It doesn't deserve the same amount of attention, the same kind of like or dislike as something that is compulsory? @_@ I find that incredibly stupid and annoying.
