    ^ except bosses don't hit often enough for it to really benefit. In CT I started with a buffed Power Slash combo and I was able to siphon blade into soul eater mostly, but for the few times I had to show the PLD my threat superiority. The thing is it's easy to want to keep using our Dark Arts and Darkness, when it really needs to be timed and conserved.

    But I can still see fixes coming in 3.1 after it's had some time in Alexander.

    Something that would actually be an interesting adjustment is the HP gain on Soul Eater. Instead of damage based, which enforces the STR meta, make it percentage base. Make us WANT more VIT because it'll empower our Soul Eater. Could you imagine something as absurd as getting 15-25% Hp back every combo, versus hoping to get that on a crit?

    I'm just throwing out ridiculous stuff though for the hell of it.

    Honestly though that just sounds like it works better with how you only get HP in grit. That way in Grit you're focused on Dark Arts for your CD's, and out of Grit your going all out because Blood Sword regens a ton of MP. I'm honestly enjoying being out of MT more on DRK because it just feel like you get to play more with our offensive abilities, which I'm prone to from all that time as a WAR

    This isn't a bad idea, but it isn't likely to address the potential problems. As we've seen with WAR in 2.0, a health regen tank doesn't really work in raid environments. What is likely going to be the problem (just looking at the ability set) is a lack of flat, reliable mitigation outside of encounters with heavy magic damage.

    Dark knight *might* be overpowered with Dark Arts + Dark Mind + Delerium in heavy magic situations, but I'm not even sure about that. WAR with a MNK in the party is actually pretty similar. Inner Beast is available every 20-30s and they can keep up storm's path 100% of the time (reprisal isn't reliable, and it only works if there is something to parry). I'd imagine the end result is likely to be similar.
