Light or Full Party requirement for Workshop

ITT: "A group activity that needs a group? HOW DARE YOU SE?!"

Except, like people have said before, it's not a group activity. It's a one person activity with 3 people being afk.
I'm fine with having bonuses for being in a group, but at least let any FC be able to finish their airship parts, even if it takes longer.

You don't need to have the guest in your FC people ! Just invite a crafter in your party and let go !

How are people even defending this?
The design is so bad, like people have said, it only needs one crafter anyway. It hurts smaller FC's, where the members are probably closer to eachother than bigger FC's, and really excited to do things together.

Now to get around this I will need to bother random people, maybe pay them to sit around in my FC house. I don't even know if I want them inside my house, what if they steal stuff, or worse, SLEEP IN MY BED.

it's just stupid ####$@@$ bullcrap and only the people who can't take a step without a full party are defending it. Some of us are in small Fcs and this is an FC activity - be it two of us, or 20. The requirement for 4 is crap and needs changed.

I wasn't being snarky. The truth is you want to be isolated in an MMO? That's fine. But expect to be left out of certain content. Nothing else to discuss really. As far as the gate it should require other people in group to do something I agree.

A GROUP is a GROUP - 2 or more is a group. And yes, my FC pal is all I could ask for , and more , for company. We do not want to be forced to work with other people in what should be a fun FC activity - this requirement is ridiculous, ugly and seriously pissing folks off. Simple. People use fcs like linkshell. As we progress fc content you really expect it to cater to the delusion that fcs smaller than light parties should exist? Explain. Some of these fcs are nothing more then housing holders for one or two people which I'm pretty SE did not intend. But I degress, this is side bar content. A flying retainer so it's not a issue to remove the gate or make the gate actually make sense. But there will be future fc content and I hope it keeps requiring actual parties.

And if this was actual group activity and not the design they used, you may have a point. This isn't a group activity though, it's a gate and nothing more.

I'm not arguing that there is a work around to what is a poor design choice on SE's part. We're going to get all ingredients in place and then ping our LSs to borrow some folks for about 15 minutes while we get this done. I'm asking why put something in like this that requires a work around in the first place.

You answered that and it's the same answer I came to. They don't like micro-sized (10 and fewer) FCs taking up a housing plot. That was caused by a bad design in their housing system. Rather than taking the time to fix the root problem, they pulled this nonsense.
