    My guess on this is that they originally planned to add more egis, but that changed and the quest dialogue was just missed in the jumble of getting everything done.

    Not necessarily, they could have planned the new SMN skills before the quest dialogue. It could be just a tease to what is coming in a future patch.

    I really did not. Your mention of glamour was a small, minor P.S. at the bottom. The rest was all DPS mishmash that we all know about.

    For the record Summon I is Summon I whether it looks like Carbuncle, Garuda, or Shiva. That may be fine for some, but that's like me putting a mask on and saying I'm a new person.
