Light or Full Party requirement for Workshop

Please remove this requirement for a party to progress with crafting.

I bought the workshop this morning. I turned in all the parts for the 1st step for crafting a wheel and recieved the message i cannot proceed. There are only 2 crafters in our small fc so this has been a total waste.

Even if it's possible to have people outside your fc help, it would be frustrating and annoying for each step having to find more people to join for each thing you wanted to make. Please fix this issue quickly SE.

This isn't going to change because it was made for companies like mine who all want to work together for a common goal in crafting.

Companies that all want to work together, you mean like my little company of just me and my friend? I'm thinking bigger companies just want to monopolize this stuff, and that's not right. We worked just as hard to get most of our crafts up and we deserve to be able to do this without going to strangers for help. That's what I call wanting to work together for a common goal, or doesn't it count because there's only two of us?

you can buy ship parts on the MB i advise against trying now, since they will be waaaay over priced (still first day)

Why should this have to be an option for us? We have the house, we know how to craft - it is unfair that we should not be able to without outside help.

you mean like how there is no fc content for large fc's?

we don't always get our way. 4 player content is not that much. i don't have 4 players in my 2 man fc so guess what i am getting 2 people to come when i craft my airship parts, be it friends or some low lvl i pay (you don't need a specific lvl crafter they can be lvl 1 only you have to be able to make the parts)

My company just completed our first airship. Here are a couple things to ease your minds.
Only the party leader has to be in the FC. You can have friends from outside your FC help, without risking your mats. Second, there is no level requirement, so even if they're level 1 you can still complete it.

Just to confirm, that means if you have all crafts at a high enough lvl you can do ALL the handing in and just have the other 3 crafters just sit there until you're done?

Thats kind of the point, its not 4 player content. Literally the only thing you need 3 others for is to sit there inside of the workshop while being in your party. As as mentioned they dont anything more then a single level in a crafting class.

sure technically? if you do it that way, i see it more as a way to get you to all work together gather together.

you get the mats and you could all sit together making your own pieces so instead of 1 person doing all the work it's shared between 4.

but at the same time for the smaller fc's you can do it this way to not comepletly screw them over and force them to only buy from mb.
