That didn't answer my question. What advantage is there in leaving it in? It causes us in small companies to have to ping friends and inconvenience them. So why leave it in?

I'll tell you WHY it was implemented this way. It was to prevent people holding on to FC's with just one alt from driving the market up on Airship Components cause guess what; They can be bought and sold on the market board.

Forgot to add; It also prevents them from setting their airship out on ventures to gain items in which yes, they would sell those items for profit and would destroy the market for said items as we know it. Because you can apparently get materia from the Airship Ventures. Now how unfair would it be if a FC with one person in it total was destroying the market with airship venture items? And think about if this one person FC has many one person FC's with houses. That's up to a total of 8 different FC's with houses, with workshops, monopolizing the market because of rewards from Airship ventures.
