Wow, Monk's buffs look extremely underwhelming. This is a shame, Drks get our 10% Int Down Debuff? Wtf.
Looking at Dragon's buffs though, they really aren't that great compared to Monks. Being able to keep Blood of the Dragon up for 50% of the fight is pretty nice, but the crit buff is only 15 Seconds of 3 Mins which is 8.33%
The new Abilities Dragoon gets (Their fourth attack) is equivalent to our Elixer Drive in damage roughly if you count for GL3.

Yep. I assumed they would do this with DRK since it's so magic focused. So much for needing a monk for DK lol DRG/NIN it is then? We'll see.
on another note: Hmm what about pot usage combined with tornado kick later in the fight? IR+BFB+Pot+ do your normal stuff+ potion about to end + pop Tornado Kick + pop PB to get back to GL3. Worth it? Maybe in the fights where we know the boss won't pull a Phoenix in the end phase i guess.
This exactly, even what's more, the last moments of DRG 2.0, the top parses damage wise were from dragoon and ninja, not monk (in coil fights, not training dumies nor turn 11), but the problem is the overabundant bad dragoon players, that made the class look bad, and that the job was the worst dps in history, which since their latest update it was not.Not only is DRGs(example) changes a lot more interesting, they're getting added damage to jumps, 2 more combo attacks doing high potency, another crit buff(affecting others too) and another oGCD attack... How is that not a bigger increase in DPS than MNK? and they're already pretty much on par with DPS...
I think the biggest problem is if Delierum (The Drk Int Debuff) will take off the Dragon Kick Debuff.
Man I might not be raiding as a freaking Mnk, I refuse to raid as Drg, hopefully my group will let me go smn.
That's a bad copypasta, though. Syphon Strike is the Riot Blade equivalent for DRK. The non-enmity second combo skill. Delirium is the skill with INT Down.
All skills seem to be up on Garland Tools, can check out the goods there:

my immediate thought is this is totally untrue in a progression raid scenario, if the monks are told to use mantra at a given time, you do it.
heck i've gone as far as to ask my healers if they want mantra at any given point, and if not then i said i'de being using it at point X in the fight where i can easily hit those that need it most, IE when add spawns next to the boss i can mantra both tanks.
