I agree with you. But unfortunately people on these forums don't agree with anyone who tries to break the lore.

I seriously hate this arguement because it's the most irrelevant arguement out there.
"Anyone who tries to break the lore" the way the classes were written were to have the trainer gated inside of Ishgard. There is nothing that could've stopped SE from putting the trainer in Eorzea for level 30-50, then having the trainer re-locate to Ishgard post-50. There are -any number- of reasons they could've come out to Erozea. Any number of reasons they could be anywhere. It is up to the writers 110% to do so, and simply put, they chose the laziest/easiest way of gating them inside the content.
I'll accept certain arguements, but this one I disagree adamantly with.
