    It's funny.

A lot of people I see trying to call others "Incompetent" in a PUG/Clear party are often the ones being the most incompetent of all. Had this issue with a WHM yesterday who joined a clear party for Ramuh-EX.

One wipe in, "Ok, isn't this a farm party?" When the party finder had clearly said "CLEAR for a friend." ... He proceeds to say he'll "Stay for one and I'll leave if it doesn't get better."

So we go again. This time, the WHM proceeds to wipe us... He is #2, and gets tethered to the Bard Bait, and proceeds to stand there... casting Medica II and Medica... ignoring the orbs, until he eventually dies. His excuse? "You expect me to break tethers when the other healer doesn't know what they're doing?" and then proceeded to leave the duty.

We cleared about 2~ pulls after we replaced him. But I'll make it clear what I'm getting at: Tryhards will always exist, and if you are trying to call someone else an "Incompetent", you often times might wanna double check yourself since you're probably making an *** of yourself.

For me its easier to teach the new guy than trying to find a good pt, because the more guys know the duty the easier it gets to find a good pt. Still there are guys who are not willing to listen/learn and that really pisses me of, or the guys that go i suck pls kick me after 1 try and you are like wtf?

But one thing i kinda hate about that is that the guy that spends all the fight dead loots the pony and gets it almost always.

Something similar happened during my very first WoD run this weekend. In the alliance I was assigned almost half of the party were people who were running for the first time (including myself). And it was made apparent very quickly because usually our alliance was the poorest performing out of the three because we just didn't know how to do things. (And yes, I watched a video. Explain that in a sec). Don't know how the other two alliances were made up. We did fine for the most part until we fought Cloud of Darkness herself.

We wiped twice, both times we actually got the boss to its last third of health. Twice someone initiated vote abandon which was refused, so the people left. Someone from the other alliances asked if there was stuff we didn't understand, so I and a few others finally explained why our alliance was lagging behind (now that we're standing still long enough to actually be able to type/talk). They explained things guide videos did not, we got our replacements, cleared the raid on that final third try with a drastic decrease in player deaths (mechanics handled perfectly I add. She didn't get any clouds swallowed or anything like that).

It really does amaze me how quick players are to flat out give up rather than take a second to see if the group needs to adjust.

Sorry but 90% is a huge exaggeration. I see healers bail just as frequently as tanks and I see DPS bail even more often, which makes sense because there's more of them in any given party. I stay long enough to get a feel for whether or not the group has the capability to complete the content. If people know the fight and are just making a few mistakes, I'll stay. If the party's full of people that don't have the slightest inkling of what's going on and are basically hoping for a carry, I'll still give it a few tries before initiating a vote abandon. If the vote doesn't go through and I feel like I'll waste more time in a hopeless fight than I will by leaving, then I'll just eat the 30 minute penalty.

And this is why Steps of Faith was nerfed.

Most days I will stick around until the party begins to fall apart, but some days I'm just not in the mood to spend time dealing with people. I just stay quiet most of the time and finish then leave without commending anyone. I had a chrysalis myself not too long ago where we stopped an explained the fight to the new people, and specifically explained that we need to save the limit break for the tear. What happens? The blm that didn't listen or care and wanted to play his way shot meteor off at the boss, who teleported out of it and did 0 damage. So I dropped, just tired of people that don't listen that day. People have good and bad days and sometimes they take it out on others. I don't defend that, but sometimes you just gotta accept the good and bad.

a lot of people have no patience. i am by no means the best player ever (i do have panicky derpy moments)but for me if i am helping on content i know and am comfortable on, i stay until we win or the bitter end unless. . .there is that one person not listening to what they are doing wrong and continue to do the same thing and won't even attempt to communicate with us if they are struggling with something.

Just joined a DF Coil turn 10. Before we even started, tank is marking three people for tethers. Our ninja consistently unmarked the numbers. Tank and ninja start arguing, ninja pulls/trolls. We kick him from the group, and then everyone leaves. Like really? Would've taken us 30 seconds to replace a DPS. I waited 37 minutes in queue for that...I don't understand DPS who are so quick to leave when the queue times suck that much. Isn't it worth it to at least try instead of leaving and waiting another 30 minutes? I don't get it. Had a group earlier today that split too when it was clear we had what it took to win the fight(we got it to 20% without much issue.) Why are people so impatient and cowardly? If they think their time so valuable, wouldn't they stay rather than leave the queue and wait again? Tanks and healers, that's a different story, but the dps are quick to leave too and I just don't understand that lol.

    As for me it's simple.
Have you play Dota or LOL? it's all about the synergy, sync and chemistry.

I'm more prefer to abandon the current duty and try again with other player who have same synergy with me.
Less stress, different people have different approach, it's not about experience or gear, congeniality only matters.
