Just wait... In 5 days there will be plds/wars screaming that drk is OP... brds will be crying about machinist... and the sch/whm crowd will post so many RIP healer topics you won't know which ones you've read.

It may be the other way around. Could be that DRKs will be screaming that they're too weak, or lack such and such skill. Remember, Paladins got one of the major things they have always been asking for, a 3rd hit on Riot Blade. Then they got even more, another branch skill on Savage Blade. Then there's the guaranteed block.

Warriors got some pretty things as well. A DPS stance that switches stacks is huge. We know very little about what Dark Knights are getting. Yes, there have been bits and pieces, but you're talking about tanks that were already completely viable in all situations that we were up against being given even more tools against a tank class that we haven't gotten to play with at all, that hasn't been player tested at all, and that we know nothing about. It could be great. It could fall flat on its face. We simply don't know anything beyond that the tanks we do have already have proven themselves to be capable in the face of every challenge we have faced.

But since the last week or so, some of them logged in and came back to prepare for HW, which is great.

And I'm seeing LOTS of green leaves popping up and they're not bots at all. Which is great.

I feel like Pallys rock. They're solid and with the new changes, will be more involved with their rotations. When I'm in a group with a Pally, I am 99% of the time more comfortable with going OT on WAR.

Actually, there was a thread started by someone claiming paladins can't tank. It was met with a chorus of unanimous opinion that it was simply the OP who couldn't tank.

Oh yeah, there's exceptions... I was just speaking of general trends.

Because they are, mechanically, a pain in the neck. Phase jumps really break their flow, as does any mechanic that causes them to stop DPSing for a time (like say Wild Charge in T10 targeting the MNK). Primal fights have traditionally been very anti-MNK as well (though the last couple have been more friendly too them since they don't go invulnerable every 30 seconds).

In HW they are giving them abilities to help keep the flow going as well and deal with jumps/phase changes which is nice.

Not everyone who had gripes about Paladins is just is part of some brigade mandated to periodically complain, or 'just bored' with nothing better to do. Why would anyone try to invalidate other pls issues and concerns on a topic by saying that?

I personally have always had issues with the class, and probably will after the expansion has been around for a while, because like someone else in the thread mentioned, the additional abilities probably aren't going make the class that much more engaging.

I've mostly been a lurker but I find the recent increase in pally threads mildly amusing
