Did you not seen how a DRG jumped with Elusive Jump direct in the maw of a dragon behind him in the trailer? ^^Maybe one like Vishap, but those one in the heavensward trailer looked like they had some issues fitting Dragons in their maws, and they seem to be the general force in the Dravanian horde. Chances are the reason why the DRG AF armor has all the spikes and blades on it are to deter dragons from just chomping on down, at least not without getting a mouth full of blood and a torn up throat. Either way, big open spot means easy stabby stabby.
No greater weak spot than carving out the belly of a beast. DRG are damn insane and possibly nigh suicidal considering they train to fight dragons as a chosen enemy. So being eaten is something that is possibly planned? The razor sharp spines, spikes, and spurs on the DRG probably mean that even in the event of death and being eaten they will be taking the dragon with them.
I'm pretty sure not every Japanese person wants tankini sets. SE's had an alright track record with this and FFXIV, minus a few hiccups, and we're hoping it doesn't stop. It's about building a semi-immersive world, if the guys are wearing big hulking armor, why are the girl's wearing stuff that shows off their breasts? If you're gonna say "magic lol" then why wouldn't the guys also have skimpy looking outfits as well?
I mean, I'm sure if you nose dive into the dragon making yourself as narrow as possible, you'll probably slip right in without issue, but I recall some of them being snatched out of the air in a less seemingly planned manor (IE their head, arms, and legs were outside the mouth). You really don't want to risk accidentally getting teeth to the gut then, which the belly hole seems to make a whole lot easier. Like what Lewtskie said maybe it's intentional to they cut the beast up while slipping down in?
Idk, I've seen like 3 people at best use AF appearance for the Tanks. Everyone I've seen is in either Allagan or Ironworks or Skimpy Armor. If people really care that much about the AF, many would use it but it seems pointless to me that many would voice an opinion just to voice it and not be fully committed to the cause. I wouldn't be surprise if half the people voicing this cause have skimpy outfits on other classes.
