



Actually, you can't. The game requires you to be DoW or DoM for the vast majority of non crafting and non gathering quests. Trust me, I tried.



Trust me, you did something wrong. Have you tried it with the right level?
Accepted a MSQ as a Leatherworker
Killed the quest enemies with Archer (because battle part). Class changes not required in quests with no battle parts.
Finished the quest as a Leatherworker again
Earned quest exp for Leatherworker

Only for the battle parts. In the whole MSQ fom 2.0 to 2.55 you do much more talking to NPC than fighting.
Just level up a battle class with FATEs parallel to your crafting class and you can do 80% of the MSQ as a crafter.

You are defeating the argument though... you have to level a battle class to complete the quests... because you have to win the battles. Good luck beating down a group of monsters solo with your crafting tools. Even if you are level synched, it will still be a hard win--if it is even possible.
