Please Allow 50's to Enter Ishgard w/o having completed MSQ

games like SWTOR and STO (both sci-fi MMOs...huh...) gate their content and basically don't let you do it til the previous content is finished

SWTOR or WoW does not gate a new area behind content completion. It was tied to being max level.
So far there isn't a person saying a new level 10 should be able to go to Ishgard they are just saying lose up on the main story requirement.
A large portion of the msq could be removed without impacting the story which would also speed things up.
