SMN has MP issues in prolonged fights, such as current raid tiers. Outside of that, nothing really lives long enough to matter.
I've only every had MP issues when I have to spend half the fight reviving the other parties in the Alliance. And even then, I've never been to the point that I needed a potion to restore MP, just to where I couldn't use another revive......
