

Chinese version is separate.Yet we have skeletons, which are taboo in China. It's unrealistic to water a game down so much that it appeals to everyone, and currently it's only done selectively with certain things. There's no reason we can't have some blood. We've got violence already, and plenty of it. We've got other things that are changed already as well.
Adding the "option" means that it's still there, and thus has no actual effect on the rating.
Consolidating the rating to be acceptable in all regions is more important than showing blood.
