Blood Content in FFXIV

This post contains spoilers for those who haven't finished the main scenario story.

How come they never display any blood content in FFXIV? Wouldn't battles look more interesting showing blood? No blood was even shown in the final scenes where they cut Raubahn Aldynn's arm off, which looked really odd.

I can't recall seeing any blood content in the previous FF series as well.

Blood is one of the many things that prevents a game from going T to M.

China doesn't count as they have the craziest and probably harshest censorship laws governed by a world power. Im not asking for excessive blood like maybe bloodboune but at least some blood like when Raubahn gets his arm cut off have some blood dripping off the wound. Until then, may the good blood guide your way.

About the boobs/sideboobs...it's probably because of the bust sizes not being all that big (for example Ivy Valentine from the Soul Calibur Series). (though I'm not sure because I didn't go max size in the bust department on my character.)

Was like O_o when i saw raubs arm fall off lol. It felt like he was a barbie doll or something that had their arm pulled out from their socket. I was like where's the blooddddddd!?
Then they re made that moment in the heavensward trailer and made it look better XD.

I'm aware, obviously. I used it as an example that things ARE changed for regions already. With that said, there's no logic behind the idea that they should make an exception for blood over anything else. They already change things. Simply add it for certain versions of the game, and take it away for others.

If they did that, instead of making two versions (NA/EU/JP and China) they'd possibly have to make four.

Seems like a lot of effort for some added pixels.

Nothing is better just because blood has been added. Vore and gore fanatics both need to realize can get their kicks elsewhere. :P

It's funny cause in the Heavensward Opening cinematic there indeed IS blood lol.
