I wonder if this is counted toward refunding item back once per account thing?

Oooh! Good Luck! I hope you get it restored! Oh, your poor fc members. I would be furious if I had donated only to have the fc leader spend the gil on a PERSONAL house. Mistake or no, for me it would be inexcusable. That said, I hope the GMs will help you straighten this out, HOWEVER... (incoming wall of text![]()
OP, I'm going to explain something that will make you reconsider the helpfulness of GM support. Since you have so many available large plots on your server sitting for so long without being purchased you probably paid the minimum price somewhere between 28M-35M gil. When you relinquish land it RESETS the devaluation. This means the private mansion you paid upwards of 35M for will cost you 70M to purchase over. You will literally be paying DOUBLE for the same piece of land. This is not something a GM can bypass. They could return double what you paid, so reimburse 70M if you paid 35M, but I don't see that happening...
IF the GMs will help you by allowing you to relinquish the land you'll have to look for a new plot of land that is already devalued unless you have another 35M gil lying around or you can wait another 30 with a slim chance your plot will still be available. This means you are pretty much screwed, and your fc is screwed, over your mistake.

So a Gm just contacted me. I have officially relinquished the land. Now they will wrap up the investigation and send the money back and I'll do my very best not to be ditzy. So far, everything is looking very good. Also, He/she (the GM) was extremely nice. I'll be sure to take a pic of my fc mates punishing me and share with you guys, once we get our house.![]()

Grats on yoru FC house!![]()
Next step, after the house is up, is we all need to create characters on Coeurl so we can laugh on the front lawn.
The plot is secured, right? Would hate it if someone were to snatch it up.
