Lol.. everyone has their own way to make money, some people would be livid at a several k loss on the market, i just think of it like.. "fine, you want to undercut me when i sell for the market average i will just bury you, now while your oils are sitting on the market for a month i will be out getting stuff to make /more/ that will sell before yours ^-^"

People like market board campers are another case for why run selling should be permitted for that exact reason. Raiders have to make a living too somehow. I don't think it's unreasonable to say a lot of cutthroat marketboard campers probably also buy clears. Let them return that money to some of the people they probably screw over :P

The Market board is the single most cutthroat battlefield in XIV, you can think of 8k price drops as a limit break to insure victory, and 1 gil price cutters as a nasty status effect.

Victory Fanfare should play whenever all your stuff sells, make it happen SE!

Think thats bad D: on blaming i got a nice rare item and looked up the price it was over ONE MILLION now i aint a crafter and i was like FINALYI CAN BUY A PEICE OF GLAMOR (inc that craps way to expensive yo) and put it on there, excitedly i went and did titan pony farm (with no results :c) and thought ok it should of sold and had a look

The thing worth ONE MILLION GIL dropped down to early under 100 gill and the market of an item only 4 people were selling jumped to nearly 25 people :c

i think its mostly due to the basic 6 months of waiting we have been doing for heavens ward people are born and so there flooding the markets to make gil for heavenward :c

An item is worth what someone buys it as, not what someone lists it as. If those are all truly worth 1 million you should buy them all now.

It's a free market. Happens in nearly every MMO that attempts to simulate a market. Deal with it.

Most people have finished content and have nothing better to do than gather or craft. Way too much up for sale at the moment. The one thing that bugs me the most is with low prices you still get those undercutting the low price by 20 to 30 percent for no apparent reason in a depressed market. And yes, materia seems to never go down.
