Why not make it a system like XI where you could switch nations but would have to lose your story progression up to that point since all 3 nations had their own separate storylines?

I do worry about a decision like this at this point n the game where the lack of content is a major issue. By blocking players out of 2/3rds of company quests the patches might boost the quality of the game overall but from a perspective of one player that's only a tea-spoonful of content they get to play out of all the quests being put into the game.
