Honestly, I like that it's mixed up on weapons. My main class' weapon isn't in Limsa, you see me crying.
It splits things up and makes people have to make permanent choices.

That's fine, I agree people should have to chose and be locked in once they do.
But the fix'd choice people have already made (starting city/race for example) have no correlation in side the game world to what the GC's had to offer in 1.18.

I think it would be better if Armor was set up like this rather than weapons. I'd like to be able to wear the colors of my chosen GC.. hopefully our chocobos will have the colors like the screenshot.

I'm hoping we'll get gear that shows off the emblem of our nation's GC. Would love to see capes or something, but unsure if that'd ever be implemented. A simple Tabard like in XI would be fine as well.

I like being able to try them out now like that and get a feel for the NPCs and lore behind each company. I am going to have to stick with Ol' LL myself.

I think they would allow us to buy item from other companies but would cost us a big tax like in FFXI. This i wont mind i can be in the city i like and get the gear i like.-
