Yeah I noticed, but I sorta missed it, did they outright say no new egis, cause if they did SE is really dumb, since that was one of the biggest things people wanted. I know I want my Shiva.

Yeah, they said no new Egis, but more of a focus on the SMN. Each use of Aetherflow gives you a stack of something else, which when you have enough lets you enter Bahamut Trance and use Akh Morn.



Edit: they did mention about possibly reskinning the current Egis in the future as an option.

Really glad Tri-Disaster will be useful. Probably never going to use Tri-Bind, but I love the new Tri-Disaster.

Can probably thank the weekly SMN threads for the lack of new egis. What's the point of making new ones if people are going to spend 90% of their time bitching about the way they look cause "I NEED TO SUMMON A FULL PRIMALZ". With the trinity system, they were just going to play the same as the old ones anyway. May as well just work on re-skins.

However, I’m sure many are wondering if they will have to continue looking at the same egi forever, but we are planning to add a system in the future that will allow you to change the appearance of your egis, including Carbuncle, but their stats will remain the same.

I just want Leviathan-Egi to have piercing damage instead of the slashing damage Ifrit-Egi has.
