If people want SE to all GW2 or worse kMMO on us, at what point do people start to wonder what the subscription they're paying for, is for? cos I pay it be able to have everything within the game available, even the parts I'm not interested in. (like the tank mounts... I've seen the way this community treats them. Nope.)

I actually don't mind supporting SE with extra funds if it means I get something in return such as hairstyles, minions, mounts, whatever, Im all for it.
That being said, I also expect there to be just as healthy of a flow of these kinds of things in game as well. But if my money can help support the creation of items that we would not otherwise get due to lack of resources, I am willing to give up a few dollars here and there.

There are three metallic dyes you can't get in game, the red, blue, and green.

I'm pretty much in the "just add it into the game" camp. I'm aware they will most probably add more cash shop exclusives eventually, but as long as there's not a heavy percentage of them I don't mind there being a handful. Regular updates of exclusives that never get added in game is a pretty slippery slope for a p2p mmo though, but that seems to be what the OP is suggesting and sometimes on these forums it seems like this is what people want, and I have to wonder why.

The cash shop should never have detailed character customization options like hairstyles etc. It should just be added directly through the game in some manners, like the GS pony tail. The 3 dyes are tbh the limit of what I personally find acceptable since it's just dyes, it doesn't limit people from customizing the look of their character model behind an additional paywall.
Minions and mounts in the shop I don't care much for altho I do wish the minions (and I guess the mount) had something more special to them since you are paying MORE real money to get them beyond your sub. The sub is there to sustain the game and provide content (both cosmetic and non-cosmetic), if all the content ends up in the cash shop there's no point of the subscription in the first place.

If anything I'm finding the recent trend of lackluster ingame event items while adding old event items to the mogstation to be a shady practice when events prior mogstore often either had interesting new items, or a mix of new and old items available to them. But at least the christmas event was great.

Also, the last MMO I played allowed you complete customization of your character by using in game money or by using a voucher you could get every 3 days. And it was a B2P MMO. Why can't we have that in a sub MMO?

Honestly, I would say that the only "new" content the mog station needs is content like the exclusive clothes and gear from events that we can no longer get, (I really want that awesome magitek Archanist grimoire "Grimoire Wing" that can't be obtained any more). I would say maybe give events a two or three month exclusivity period after they've been completed before putting the aesthetic rewards up on the mog station. And certainly as few "exclusives" as possible. I can't stand it when the ONLY way to get something is by buying it with additional money. If it's an event I missed because I joined the community late, that's one thing. If it's something I never had a chance to get through gameplay, that's another thing entirely......
