Favourite City/Faction and why?

Although I lost all respect for Limsa and Gridania after 2.55.

Why? Because Merlwyb and Kan-E apparently abandoned us to our fate and quickly left the banquet without even saying anything? To be fair, Merlwyb and Kan-E were placed in a very difficult situation - they suddenly found themselves caught in the middle of an Ul'dahan internal power struggle with the saviour of Eorzea accused of regicide. With Nanamo dead, Raubahn grief stricken, and the Scions also accused, there was very little they could have done which wouldn't have just made the situation worse - quietly withdrawing back to their home cities and evaluating a new plan of action was the only option available to them (and it's clear at least Merlwyb hated leaving us, but knew she had no other choice). Anything else would have risked themselves being drawn into it, either attacked or detained, which would have led to the natural outcome of outright war breaking out between the three cities.

And considering that the commanding officers of each Grand Company (even the Immortal Flames) outright state to you if you speak to them after completing 2.55 that your innocence is not even called into question and that both Merlwyb and Kan-E have decreed that you are innocent accordingly as far as they are concerned, it's clear they have not turned their backs on the Warrior of Light. Really, only Lorolito and Ilberd are the real villains here, along with their respective private armies (the Brass Blades and the Crystal Braves respectively)

Anyway, enough thread derailing from me.
