People will still use aoe against 4 mobs.Nah, what's gonna happen is that all dungeon monsters will gain a multiplicatively stacking buff when in large enough groups. Every monster above the 4th in a group doubles the damage of the entire group(meaning that 5 = 2x, 6 = 4x, 7= 8x, etc.). It'll be called 'Increased Morale'.
Or maybe SE will just make dungeon trash tough for once in their lives. Discourage mass pulling naturally, without having to put walls in the way and such.

I just tell my dps to attack what they want and adjust to them when I'm tanking. If someone insists on marking I'll start moving the marks all around. The reaction is pretty funny. The lost art of tank marking. It made dungeons smoother, especially when you ended up with 2 mellee.
Actually had a tank who was levelling ask me if i wanted to tank too because i marked kill order in a Low level dungeon. Response was no thanks already done that lol.

"Tough enough" varies heavily with gear. Since the end of 2.1, most active players have been 20 to 40 ilevels over that needed for the most recently introduced dungeons.
Keeper of the Lake, Amdapor Keep (HM) and The Wanderer's Palace (HM) were tuned for characters in i90 to i100 gear, but the active players had characters with i120 to i130 gear.

Maybe kill order will have sense when any mob dying will buff all the other alive with different buffs, and you have to choose what kill first to handle things smoothly.
Just think at different flavors of "Disseminate" (oh, the nostalgy...) XDDD

Its 100% dps's fault for pulling threat. Whether they care or whether it impacts your groups performance, is another issue.
You heard me.
I don't care if your tank is braindead. If dps pulls aggro, they deal with it. Its not necessarily a bad thing, but its not the tank's problem. My #1 goal in a pug group is to get through the dungeon with minimal wipes, whether I'm a healer, dps, or tank. I don't care what happens as long as that does. None of us want to be here, we're just grinding stupid poetics, lets just get through this crap with minimal shenanigans. I may insult you if you suck however ._.

Perhaps they can attempt to make a system in which dungeon monsters scale based on the iLvl of the party?"Tough enough" varies heavily with gear. Since the end of 2.1, most active players have been 20 to 40 ilevels over that needed for the most recently introduced dungeons.

Had read after expansion, sync will be done to lowest required ilevel. Aka an i90 duty will see everyone synced to i90. This changes quite a lot of things.
But then dungeons will just be like the pre-50 ones. Longwinded and boring as all hell, 3-mob-tank-n-spank-stop-n-go. Completely braindead and completely impossible to lose to anyone half competent. God forbid the people i queued with have nothing to chat or joke about. I'm probably going to fall asleep or something before we finish.
I just wish dungeon encounters were like guildhests -- thought out and different from the next. But no, i'm just going to dump my rotation on these 3 mobs with 90,000 HP for 6 minutes each, no problem.
Ironically, we had that all the way back in NM Sastasha with the optional massive trash pack you could kill. I agree, though - it would be good to have some trash with actual mechanics. Even the bees in Hull Breaker don't kill you like pre-nerf Qarn's would. Unfortunate. :<
