LOL!
Should've kicked the dps who went in the stomach for being so god awful @ their jobs they couldn't do it with one less player.

Every once in a while someone will call the "all DPS in" strat in WOD and either two things will happen:
-someone will outright say "no" and that's that.
-no one says anything and a few other people go in
I never go in if it's called and I'm DPSing. Why? Because it's pointless. I've never been kicked for it.

Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME

Did your alliance wipe to not being able to do the belly with 14 dps instead of 15? No? Then who gives a crap what the outlier person did. If they did wipe to it? Why are those 14 dps awful? Maybe if you DID wipe, they would feel justified in kicking your friend but honestly it is hardly their fault in that case anyway. If 1 person from each alliance didn't go in, or more... then maybe yeah... kicks in any section of CT should be reserved for trolling, harassment, afk, offline. People who kick for other reasons are just on a power trip. It's just CT...
Of course, personally on Cerb I prefer to go in because it's fun and outside is pretty boring. Into the belly of the beast!!

They have said that you can kick if people aren't playing the way the rest of the group wants. Its been pointed out in many threads where people were kicked for viewing cutscenes as the rest wanted to speed run. Not following the strategy is surely going to fall in that same category. This thing about reporting people for the kick is just dumb...
That said, I wouldn't have kicked you for it. You should just stop typing in chat if you don't want to follow the strategy. Stop arguing with people about it. They most likely wouldn't have even known that you did your own thing if you didn't draw attention to it.

I dont remember seeing "didn't follow our 1337 strats" as one of the options on the kick player option, i must be blind for not seeing that! Wow!

I would love to see a source for this where the GMs stated that not following the group strategy is a reasonable reason for botting someone from the Party. And where kicking someone for wathcing a cutscene is also looked at as a reasonable excuse. if you cannot find these sources then please, don't spout this nonsense. They have said that you can kick if people aren't playing the way the rest of the group wants. SE will roll it off as that person is not compatible with the group and a kick was just without it being harrassment. Nothing can be done when it's a unified votekick. Even if it was a premade group.
I can confirm that SE's policy on "Vote Kick Abuse" is painfully close to "Vote Kick Abuse doesn't exist". You're perfectly allowed to kick people for being new, for being undergeared, for not doing what you want them to do. They call that "differing playstyles", and if you kick someone because they watched a cutscene, then that's the same, and not considered abuse, nor harassment. They basically said "If the majority of a group decides that this is a no cutscene run, then kicking someone for watching cutscenes is okay". I had a discussion about this with a GM. Sadly, the rule of thumb as far as kickvotes go is "Kick or be kicked", if there's a disagreement.I would love to see a source for this where the GMs stated that not following the group strategy is a reasonable reason for botting someone from the Party. The only thing that's "really" prohibited, and labeled "Vote Kick Abuse" is kicking someone intentionally before a boss fight with the intention of keeping them from obtaining loot or the dungeon clear. Kicking for any other reason is fair game.
Not talking about threads. Talking about SE's policy on what does and what doesn't constitute "Vote Kick Abuse".I would love to see the thread where the general consensus was 'kicking for watching cut scenes is fine.'
Because every thread I've seen like that, the overall view was that the people kicking for that are douchebags of the highest order of magnitude, and that they should go back to LoL and get back to trying to get people banned for not playing every match at a professional level.

I'd probably put in the effort to get you that source if you weren't acting like such an angry child. Now that you've been sufficiently called on the carpet; your move, rhetorical, flatulent, fustian, gaseous, gassy, grandiloquent, oratorical, orotund, windy, bloated, elevated, florid, flowery, grandiose, highfalutin (also hifalutin), high-flown, high-sounding, inflated, lofty, ornate, pompous, pontifical, pretentious, stilted, tumid, turgid; overdone, verbose, wordy - BOMBASTIC.
