Oh... I got another one. T9. After the golems drop, I usually run to center, pop QS and unleash hell on green. I go to center so I can rotate the camera and move from golem to golem quickly. One time (while on auto-pilot I like to think) I ran straight to center before the drops. Ate all three in an epic display of stupidity. My FC could have sworn I was trying to be billy bad-arse by popping manawall and trying to survive. I was not.

I'm now known as The King of the Meteors in some circles.

Titan ex as blm, just screwing around pew pewing jumping and dodging everything. Hit sprint by mistake jumped and just missed the edge splat. Ok guys ill stand still :x

Think my best so far is back when titan ex was still somewhat new, our white mage ended up dead and as a summoner my first instinct was to rez him, in doing so i managed to forget the landslide coming right after, in which i got hit mid rez, and by the time the rez actually hit him i was already off the edge, so when he accepted he dropped right down with me, never to be rezzed again! lol.

another good one i have is from a whm in my static when we were farming T9, he wanted to try fluid aura on the golems as an interupt, he decided to use it on the last golem which was blue at the time, to interupt magnetisim, except he was a bit late and ended up finishing the cast after the knockback, sucking us all so close to the wall we all had a mild heart attack.

Jumping in the shame,

On my first levi EX clear, I was playing NIN and were learning along my FC companions.
We wiped a few times during our learning process, through which I managed to avoid falling on the water for the most of it.

But then my mind disconected for a second on the last try and levi slammed on my side, I reacted a bit slow so I was close enough to end up falling, so I decide to Sukuchi away from it, which does work, I've tested it before... but sadly I was 0.3 seconds too late and by the time the bomb throw animation ended I slid along the bottom of the ocean to the other side...

Worse is... that was the clear run and I did nothing...

my keybinds have proven that it's a bad idea to have Second Wind as CTRL+1 and Elusive Jump as CTRL+2. Took a tick of damage from earthshaker puddle, tried to use second wind but ended up using elusive jump instead, straight to the wall.

I won't lie.... once in a blue moon I'll flare with transpose still far into CD and just sit there twiddling my thumbs and pretending to be busy until I have enough mana to cast a Blizz1. Don't ask me how it happens, but once in a while I derp heavily on my rotation and this is the result.

Had the misfortune of performing this Mother of All BLM Derps during the add phase of T13 and it made me want to crawl under a box and die.

BLM suffers the Mudra lag on this too, if you have a 300+ ping you could go Flare -> Transpose but Transpose registers first, so you go F3 -> Transpose to U1 -> Flare in U1 -> Move to F3 with 0mp. The pains and wonders of lag =-=

I've also gone and fumbled Convert (when was going to Flare) -> Swiftcast (when was Convert) -> Transpose (cuz I got confused) -> Flare (cuz I finally reacted) orz

So, I've run Titan Ex a hundred times as a tank. But the first time I went on DRG, oh boy. The gaols came out, I was picked for the DPS gaol. As the party broke me out, I turned my camera towards the healer gaol and my brain went "if I jump there as soon as I'm free, I can start busting our SCH out early", so that's what I did. And of course a split second after I arrived, Upheaval knocked me off the edge. I don't know why I expected anything different to happen.

Also DRG, this time my first run as DPS for Turn 12. I got the bluefire mark, so I ran to my designated drop spot and turned my back to Phoenix. Hit Elusive Jump as soon as the mark disappeared, landed at Phoenix's butt as intended... and promptly dumped the bluefire pool all over the other melee DPS and the tank. I suppose it was fortunate we pushed phase right then, but I felt so dumb.

And that same run I popped Blood For Blood just as Phoenix flew up for the plumes. Somehow switching from tank to DPS makes me forget how fights work.

Anyone remember normal AK? Demon wall. He does the first attack with the line down the middle... OK, cool, dodge left. He does the second part with the two lines on the edges... OK, cool, dodge lefFFFUUUUUU

SMN derp - while running titan ex, and basically any other quick dodge aoe fight, if you Rouse/Spur your pet with "face target" turned on, you will spasm and face towards your pet (or sometimes, just backwards), making you run in the opposite direction and die.

This happens a lot too, with self buffs as well, esp if lagging, the client will think your true position is behind your current pos, and "face" towards "old you" and move backwards and die.

For this, and many other reasons, for the love of good turn off auto facing.

Nah, auto facing is good, you just need to turn on legacy camera. Someone pointed that option out to me and I don't know how I managed without it now.

Fighting against Midgardsormr, doing a jump just as an AoE from Midgardsormr *and* a Mirage Dragon appear overlapping underneath me.

Cat sitting on my mouse, causing my thumb to hit my Elusive Jump button...while fighting Titan...right off the edge I go!

Moving (same) said cat off my desk, start doing rotation...with my hand aligned 1-off where it should be for half a rotation before I even notice what's happening because I'm distracted
