DPS corner of Shame

So, I've run Titan Ex a hundred times as a tank. But the first time I went on DRG, oh boy. The gaols came out, I was picked for the DPS gaol. As the party broke me out, I turned my camera towards the healer gaol and my brain went "if I jump there as soon as I'm free, I can start busting our SCH out early", so that's what I did. And of course a split second after I arrived, Upheaval knocked me off the edge. I don't know why I expected anything different to happen.

Also DRG, this time my first run as DPS for Turn 12. I got the bluefire mark, so I ran to my designated drop spot and turned my back to Phoenix. Hit Elusive Jump as soon as the mark disappeared, landed at Phoenix's butt as intended... and promptly dumped the bluefire pool all over the other melee DPS and the tank. I suppose it was fortunate we pushed phase right then, but I felt so dumb.

And that same run I popped Blood For Blood just as Phoenix flew up for the plumes. Somehow switching from tank to DPS makes me forget how fights work.

As a black mage... I cast Fire 1, get a Fire 3 Proc... swift is up and there are a few adds and I have enough mana to Flare, but not to Fire 1... so, swift+flare, transpose, and then hit Fire 3 proc... lol, have happened to me a few times... like at least 10 secs with 0 mana. Felt pretty retarded.. xD

During the start of Howling Atomos phase of World of Darkness, as the party started the attack, happened to run back over the jump pad, sending me back to the beginning of the room just in time to get locked out and miss the whole fight.

I was doing A1 for my token and was on add duty for one of the lasers. when adds popped i THOUGHT i was on the adds i was supposed to be on.. and i deathflared the wrong boss causing the other set to come to me along with the ones i was supposed to hit cause i had a shadow flare on the right boss. needless to say at that moment one of the missile went off. and my controller uncalibrated (thanks inputmapper) causing me to just derp right near the landing zones and die. this caused us to wipe at 3%... i was so thankful that the guys i was DFing it with were really nice

Speaking of different dungeons, back on the first days of HW, me and my healer friend queued for High Roulette. I went Tank for this one just for the heck of it... then got to see the oh so typical castle walls of Wanderer's Palace.
We got ready and started, kept running, and the first mob poped in front of me and... were they Tonberries? Wait, huh...? Keeps going, more Tonberries? What the... oh wait D:!!

Took me and the rest of the party like 4 mob groups before realizing we werent on the Hard Mode...
Seriusly, its been so long...
The next day we went for another High Roulette and got Wanderer's Palace normal once more. This time I was DPSing, and I said "I bet the Tank will not notice this is the normal one".

In Bismarck EX I was jumping around in circles waiting to start and I jumped off the edge by mistake.
Also while I was waiting around for my static to pull in T9 I was just chilling in the wall of death and no one told me they were pulling and i insta died.

Few days ago, i went to goad the tank and accidently (i was tired) used smoke bomb on him which ended up being hilarious XD

Let's open this first post in the good section - namely, the corner of shame.

My FC mates and I went on to try and take down Bismarck EX. ...You can probably see where this is going.
We wipe quite a number of times, but still manage to get on with the fight.
The last attempt goes pretty smoothly as well...
And theeeeeeeen here comes the first time we have to get on Bismarcks back.

I overcommit on that part and am half a second too late to get out of the things back in time. So as a fierce Derpgoon, I'm the only one getting Ring Out from this and I'm now tanking the clouds on my own (that's the step above tanking the ground >.>).

And then, this is the part where the rest of the team go out of its way and manage to clear the battle with one DPS short -namely me- for the almost-entirety of the third phase.
And me, just spectating the whole thing through and feeling like an idiot.

To this day, a part of me is still ashamed of that major screw-up. Still happy for my guildies, of course, but still - That one mistake happened at the moment where it mattered the most in the end. It was also pretty much the only major mess-up I did on the entire thing, aside from a couple of deaths on-arena that could be recovered from, and nowhere near as shameful.


...Aside from that, I also have the obligatory T9 mistake where I Elusive Jumped into the barriers of the arena, but that one is a classic

We have a joke in our FC, when ever we run someone new through something we call it a Hard Carry. As someone was explain this fight, I was jumping around shouting "HARD CARRY" and jumped off the side. Karma can be a bitch.
