Question about promotional minions

I use to collect minions hardcore, and even bought the soundtrack to both 1.0 and 2.0 just for the Wind-up Dalamud and Wind-up Bahamut. The music was the bonus for me, lol. I stopped collecting once I thought I read somewhere that they released a minion for the fan festival, which due to disabilities and lack of money due to disability there was no way that going would of been possible. And now they've released 2 more minions to get you to buy stuff, like The Art of Eorzea and the Delivery Moogle Plush, even though Yoshi once said they were not going to include in-game stuff that's exclusive to merchandise requiring you to buy other stuff outside game to get, which apparently turned out to be a lie. The minions from buying stuff is not my issue though. Basically I'm wanting to return to collecting minions IF it was not true about the fan fest. Did they release a fan fest exclusive minion? Or was it just the moogle suit and stuff? If it is true then I won't bother buying The Art of Eorzea and Delivery Moogle Plush since I can't get all of the minions anyways.

It was just the moogle outfit, there was no minion. There was also a stream of each fanfest that was purchasable for a lot less than a fanfest ticket, that allowed you to experience it without leaving your home and gave you the in-game goodies too.

So basically, you're saying those that attended the fan fest got the minions from The Art of Eorzea and Delivery Moogle Plush earlier than the general public? In that case this is great news then. I can still complete minion collection. I have until December this year to buy The Art of Eorzea and Delivery Moogle Plush. ^_^

The moogle was meant to only be available at fan fest, but it's SE, I should have expected them to sell it outside of the event, regardless of what they said. To end, there are no fan fest exclusive minions anymore, as the art of eorzia was always going to be released to the public, and the moogle can be bought, but it's 6+ months beyond its original ship date for the people who bought it online

Np, I figure there's no reason they wouldn't do the same thing for the next fanfest, so you shouldn't have to miss out in the future at least not on the fanfest-specific items.

Sorry, but this is incorrect. The Delivery Moogle was never a Fan Festival exclusive item. It was just the initial shipments were sold there first and future shipments were to be made available later via the Online stores in each region.

That's good to hear. I hope in the future you guys never decide to release minions or mounts exclusive to events like that, otherwise it wouldn't be fair to those unable to attend due to things outside of their control since mounts and minions are collections, whereas vanity and merchandise I think is okay since those aren't collections. Basically, no in game collection item should require someone to travel to a location, unless you plan on providing a way for everyone to get it at a later time. Because missing a vanity item is simply a case of being bummed out that you couldn't get it, but at least it doesn't ruin a collection, unless of course it was one piece of a set. It's even worse when we're already paying a monthly sub to have access to all in-game stuff. Please relay this to Yoshi and team.
