    I personally found the sightseeing log to be really fun. It's not something you do overnight. It's something that takes time, so yes, it is a "time sink" but it's also something you have to think about, plan for, and keep in mind when so much of the rest of this game is completely mindless. At first I was "toughing it out" just to get the minion, but soon I found that just visiting the vistas at the right light and weather was a real reward in and of itself. Most of the time the weather and times were picked for good reason, because they add a lot of ambiance. I agree that some don't really impact, like the vistas indoors, but most of the ones outside look great at the time and weather they were set as, and really, like 90% of them have common weather conditions that you can get almost any day. It's only a few rare ones that are tedious. I agree the hints aren't that well-written but what do you want them to do? Literally list out the time, coordinates, correct emote, and correct weather? If that's what you want, just use a guide.

    The only "nerf" I would support is counting "thunder" along with the "thunderstorms" for the Buscaron's Druthers vista. That one was a pain in the ass.

    Sure, if I wanted them to literally spell out exactly where, when and how to get the Log entry, I'd use a guide.

    I don't want that though. I just want the hints to actually acknowledge the damn requirements in the exact same way they do the location and the odd requirement. Take #36 for example;

    "Someone actually lives there? I'll believe it when I meet the man. Still, you'll not find me complaining- it's a fine place to sit down and rest your weary legs for a spell."

    From that I can guess;

    The location - A seemingly abandoned building.
    The emote - Presumable /sit, I don't actually know though.

    Time of day and weather though? Absolutely no idea. I have been there multiple times, during multiple windows and weather, done every single emote.

    When the vast majority are like this, it stops being fun and starts being frustrating. Figuring out the where and what based off the hint was fun, basically being forced to rely on a guide for the rest is not. If I was going to use a guide, I would have already. Instead I'm going to call this piece of content out on its blatant flaws precisely because it requires a guide. Side content like this shouldn't require a guide, no content ever really should.
