"WIN" in an MMO

You do realize that in video games, when a player does not have an end game goal given to them by a game company, they will create their own ways to feel like they've accomplished what satisfies them instead? That is why a person can feel they have "WON" an MMO, by simply achieving the goals they set for themselves. If that goal is beating FCoB then that's their ending. Perhaps you are taking this rather literally.

I do understand that, but that's a personal goal. I do not care if there are other 4 star crafters around and they just happened to buy their way through it. Nor should you care when there are people walking around with T13 clears that they just bought. Just because someone bought their way to reach a goal, that shouldn't cheapen your own achievement that you got legitimately.

Unless of course, you're looking for external approval from your achievements, then I can understand why it would irk you that there are "imposters" out and about.
For me, I just don't care about what other people think of my "achievements" in this game.. All of it is internal. If I think I've done something well, that's good enough. I don't need a title hanging over my head to show the rest of the World, nor does it bother me that some other people just paid their way to get to where I am.

So why are you putting so much effort into caring about what gives other people their sense of accomplishment in this game if you do not care about other people's personal goals? Let people enjoy the game the way they want to enjoy it and you do the same. You're wasting so much of your energy trying to tell people that their personal goals and accomplishments are worthless to you here. I mean frankly, your personal goals and feelings are moot to me as well, but I'm not writing walls of text to shove my opinions in your face because that's just arrogant.

You pay your subscription, you play how you want. Other people pay their subscription, they play how they want. If, at any time, our playstyles conflicts with each other, well there's a ton of other people you can spend your time with, you don't need to worry about us huh?
