Clear parties always make me laugh. It's like saying "let's farm this, but only do it once, and I haven't beat it before, but I expect everyone else to do perfectly."

It's a way to ask for a carry, though. "(Cloud Sephiroth): OOPS, I DIED BY ACCIDENT! you can do it, guys!!!" several minutes later, and maybe, some wipes after "<<Cloud Sephiroth earns the achievement In Another Bind I>>".
I've made plenty of clear groups for T9, however they failed horribly because we had unexperienced players joining in and killing the purpose of that group, when I clearly stated it was a "experienced only, people with clears and on farm status onry". Don't make me waste my time, if I realize you're new because you're messing up over and over, I have a foot for that butt. With that said, I wouldn't blame the game's design. There're content that is not designed for certain type of players, but still, they want to clear it. Either buy it or go make a learning/progression group on your own. Others mistake the difficutly of the content and think they can faceroll it. I'm not saying it's for super l33ts, but for several reasons, it's not for everyone.
Yeah, I know, you pay for a sub like everybody here... but it doesn't mean you HAVE to beat X content. If you can't, get better and try again. If you truly can't, maybe that content is not for you. I bet SE is not aiming for EVERYBODY to get through Coil but a majority of players. If they didn't make any adjustment to T5; 9 and 13, it's because they're pleased with the actual clear ratio.
I saw this a lot yesterday while trying to get my friend his first T10 clear. There where 5 of us who had cleared T13, my friend who was on TS so was executing mechanics 90% correctly, and 2 pug dps, one of which needed clear as well. Np all cool we get it to 5% first pull, but we later discovered that was only due in part because the pug NIN got super lucky and had to deal with NO mechanics. So few wipes later and we start teaching the guy about what to do for tethers and purple marker and he gets all defensive "I know what I'm doing unlike [your friend] with his i100 weapon" *rolls eyes*
About an hour later the PUG is getting so frustraited he can't execute mechanics he just starts suiciding into the lightning fields everytime he gets marked. Those of us that know T10 know that only makes things worse... lol

That's not always the case. I make clear parties for my alts to get them through content I've done before.
No, it's one person that feels they are ready to clear looking for seven other people that are willing to help. A lot of times the hardest part of clearing a raid is finding seven other people that are able to clear the raid. Plenty of clear runs that I've been in have done well enough that they turn into farm runs after, usually to the tune of 3-5 clears.
She didn't call anyone out specifically, and her post is well written and fairly polite. I don't see how she's being a jerk at all. I agree with the OP, actually. I've been in both clear and farm runs that suffer from this. You have seven people that are there for quick clears and one person that in a lot of cases hasn't even watched a video. Sneaking into a party to get your clear without any knowledge of the fight whatsoever is just making yourself into a liability and is most likely going to end in you getting kicked and blacklisted. If you want to learn, make a party to learn. If you're looking for a carry, go buy a clear; plenty of people sell runs. Don't sabotage someone else's clear attempt in the process.

This! every time I see it. You may as well just put "Come carry me!" in the comments. I'm so tempted every time I see it, I just know there is a lot of rage behind that commence duty button.
