Entitled DPS, please stop being entitled

You are the embodiment of an entitled tank and should feel ashamed of yourself. At that point, I'd have no qualms in making you leave yourself and eat the half hour penalty. You can try to tackle the boss with no heals while the DPS and I clear the scrap monsters. Your kind of attitude needs to be heavily discouraged.

Statements like yours further the stigma against tanks throughout this game.

Sorry, but I don't feel ashamed. No matter how much you want me to. Try as you might to discourage 'my' (read most tanks) attitude and as you've seen in this thread, you will be fighting an uphill battle. Again, if you don't like the way it is.. please play a tank. We could use many, many more. If you choose to only play a healer or a dps, you are choosing to follow someone else's lead. Because without a tank, you 'might' be able to clear some trash waiting for another tank, but a boss.. forget about it.

However, if you keep making tanks leave or kick them, you will find this game will become very very difficult to get through. You will either give in and 'let the tank drive' or quit. There really isn't much more to say about it.

Actually, I already work around that.

One, I tank myself when I desire to. It's not as if you have a monopoly on the jobs.

Two, I'm in an FC that holds decent people, including tanks, that are willing to run with members to not deal with poor attitudes of PUG tanks (We even swap tank roles to accommodate each other's needs.)

So, no, it's really not sweat off my back to kick a tank that's misbehaving. Poor attitudes, however, will keep you out of good FCs and Raid statics - which can hurt your progress more. That may be something you wish to consider.

Then I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't have and have not had, any problems with my own progression and have quite a good FC myself. It's also no sweat off my back to accept being kicked or to kick an uppity healer/dps for trying to dictate to me how to run the dungeon. I've said my peace and will not change my attitude.
