Why are people so short minded?

These cmopanies pretty much function like nations in XI...so at some point you will be able to "reset" your company anyway and can join another to do all missions/quests from it...

Even a mentally retarded ape could tell it's gonna be like that.

But for now, NO don't let us join all three. This is supposed to create a bond between you and your "prefered nation", so why should we get all of them...

Decisions are a good thing on some things and this definetely is one of em.

I do not mind going to serve one nation only, but i want to do a certain one, and not force my self to serve the others just because they give the equipment i need,

like my Eg. i pledge loyalty to Gridania, but they do not give me Lancer equipment, i must pledge to Limsa to be able to get them which i do not want to in the first place. =.=

Spoke to Yoshida about this to get an answer for you all. You can only belong to one Grand Company and once you join one officially you will be unable to switch allegiances. With that said, we'd like you to check out each of the Companies beforehand and decide which you want to pledge your allegiance to.
