PAX Gear Preview For BLM?? Seriously??

ppl take ilv to seriously. if you don't like the look, don't use it; there will be many other equips to choose from.
i don't wanna own those fugly sets, either, so i don't get them.
well since it's AF, you might get it from quest anyway, so just glamor, or dump it in armoire.
To me the DRG-Dreadwyrm set is the most awesome looking armor in the game, to others it looks ridiculous. I like Au'ra, others think the males look hideous. So whatever SE does, there's gonna be ppl that love it/hate it/don't care.
Personally i agree: AF is iconic sets, and this AF2 doesn't look "BLM iconic" and to whoever mentioned Black Walz, this set looks nothing like it.

yet to see a decent looking bard set in ff14.. and your complaining about BLM gear?? bards gear is just ugly lol thnk god theres glamour :P

lol I love the bard gear for its over the top colorfulness! Running around in the Amon set with the huge ridonkulous hat with the big floofy bouncy feather plume, there's nothing better. XD

I'm also liking this new BLM gear, though I'm curious to see exactly what it will look like on males, don't have a clear picture of that yet.

I like how people are saying just glamour over it. Our options are limited to about 7 unique robes, and even then most of them are based off a previous ones design.

Like I said in similar threads, this is not blm gear. It's more toward red mage/ musketeer.

Just cause you have a glamour system, doesn't mean you can half ass gear design, which is what the blm gear designer has clearly been doing.

Be happy, with BLM AF2 you get something that is not a robe.

I kind of like the new AF2 sets. I'm honestly not a fan of the skirt, but it's a lot better than a robe.

Also to be fair, we have yet to see a male version of this Blm AF2. Though I personally don't care for the look much, the only real thing that bugs me is the Conquistador helmet. It doesn't really fit a Black Mage at all in my opinion. And in general the only thing about this AF2 that fits Black Mage is the fact that it is black.

Wasn't the BLM in the Benchmark a male? And tbh, Im loving AF2 a lot more than AF1.

AF1 only look dyed better. At least AF2 is not 98% black, maybe 80%
