PAX Gear Preview For BLM?? Seriously??

I...no. There's no way as a male player I can support that outfit... It's the Evenstar outfit all over again... Completely and utterly ridiculous looking on male characters and decent looking on female characters.. I'm not dropping $200 on Collectors editions to look like a fool running around like this.. The armor is supposed to be kick ass, its an expansion...not a circus freakshow. No BLM can be taken seriously in this gear and makes me embarrassed to main as one.

Don't bother saying "Glamor over it" because this, to me which I'm entitled to my opinion, is just no.

Also to be fair, we have yet to see a male version of this Blm AF2. Though I personally don't care for the look much, the only real thing that bugs me is the Conquistador helmet. It doesn't really fit a Black Mage at all in my opinion. And in general the only thing about this AF2 that fits Black Mage is the fact that it is black.

That new staff though is awesome and I want it.

You have a point. SE recycles gear too often. You'd expect innovating gear. BLM isn't the only one. DoL, DoH suffer from the recycle-syndrome too. Let's not talk about MNK's bikini top for males..

I see you have no BLM or SMN to 50, meaning you didn't have to equip the Evenstar outfit for the caster. Go ask a 50 BLM if he still has the set to put it on then come back and talk to me. There is really no difference between the 2 genders for casters. This is how it looks. This is why I made this thread.

I think you are wrong, I think they set looks absolutely kickass, and for this sole reason I would gladly have payed 400$ for a collectors edition! (don't ask me how this is even relevant to the topic) anywho, I think it's amazing and I'm glad the planet have at least 2 people with 2 diffrent opinions.
