I see you have no BLM or SMN to 50, meaning you didn't have to equip the Evenstar outfit for the caster. Go ask a 50 BLM if he still has the set to put it on then come back and talk to me. There is really no difference between the 2 genders for casters. This is how it looks. This is why I made this thread.

The Evenstar Coat is not exactly the same for males and females. There's no reason to assume the previewed set will look exactly like that on males.

Reread what I said at the end of the post. AF gear shouldn't look absurd.

Eh, give it a different hat and the gear isn't so bad.

I main Smn and personally while the new AF2 for Smn doesn't look bad, it doesn't exactly fit my personal tastes so I'll more than likely be glamouring over it. It's really not a big deal. I think you need to put your big boy pants on and just deal with it the same way I will when the time comes.

Not true. The female version had a panties/fishnet combo and a weird tutu that the male version did not have.

You have a point. SE recycles gear too often. You'd expect innovating gear. BLM isn't the only one. DoL, DoH suffer from the recycle-syndrome too. Let's not talk about MNK's bikini top for males..

I think you are wrong, I think they set looks absolutely kickass, and for this sole reason I would gladly have payed 400$ for a collectors edition! (don't ask me how this is even relevant to the topic) anywho, I think it's amazing and I'm glad the planet have at least 2 people with 2 diffrent opinions. Most of the new AF2 sets look pretty hideous in my opinion.

Whatever though, not all gear has to appeal to my tastes, and for the most part I've already found sets I like the look of.

Summoner's (I think?) looks cool... like the steampunk style.

the only sets i like are SMN , NIN , DRG .

Hope tome gear , dungeon lvl 60 set and alexander gear looks cool....i dont want to glamour lvl 50 gear again....
