I was originally interested in the Au Ra, but the horns look so unnatural (they look like they're attached with 3M instant adhesive)...and the nightmares, oh the nightmares, that would come with helms...

Like cutting holes in the sides so their horn-ears fit through?

Looks like I'm probably going to have a 3rd character just to see the Auri start for myself...

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. The more and more I see of the male Au Ra, the more I'm turned off. They look like they got hit by the ugly branch on their way out of the womb, and then got weird headgear super-glued to their heads or something.

They seem awesome to me especially all the customization for them. Personally I cant wait to get my hands on the benchmark and play around with it

The female Au Ra look awesome... The males look like freaky monstrosities. Just my opinion though.

Not sure if "elegant and mysterious" is a translation error, since I don't see anything remotely elegant or mysterious about the animation I've seen. Oh well, too early to judge.

It doesn't surprise me since they wanted them to be similar to Miqo'te in design rather than FemRoe or Fem Highlander

Well they are supposed to be demon like, which they seem to have succeeded in my opinion.

We also have to remember that the people/person actually uploading the screenshots seem to be focusing on the females. What few examples of the males we've seen seem to be extreme ends of the spectrum.

Au Ra are just not what I wanted at all to begin with, which was a lizard/draconic race. Instead its just another human race with bestial traits like patchy scales and horns.
