The final part of ARR story doesn't make enough sense.

We are no enemy of the state. They can't do this. The way it is now ( even while it makes not much sense) is, that the Sultana is ill. That means we did exactly NOTHING.

That's the official situation. They can't blame her death on us as it is.

It does all not fit together. If you accept one thing, the other becomes a problem and so on. As said at the beginning: some little changes and all would make much more sense. As it is it got a lot of not so nice plot holes.

Hope the solution to all this will propitiate.

To provoke the putschists with our public appearance would help Limsi, Gridania AND Uldah a lot. An Uldah ruled by the most corrupt part of the Syndicat alone is no ally, but a threat to itself and Eorza. Limsi and Gridania needs Uldah and Uldah needs the alliance, too, but this can't work under this condition. Both Kan and Merl can't allow the success of this coup, it would be devastating for them and their cities. That got nothing to do with us. Sure, without the WoL many people will die who would have lived else. We have saved so many people doing our quests, leves and of course the main story. But the real threat is not even the elimination of the WoL (while it could become a problem, who knows), the real and direct threat for Limsi and Gridania is this coup.

It's like a germany, in which a Hitler comes to power... oh, sure, maybe this guy will be fine and simply help us against the "communist menace", I mean against the Garleans, as promised. Right?

Just... what? Yeah, cause every single criminal ends up in freaking Guantanamo Bay.

And drones... just... what are you even on about? o.O.

Drones are killing people without any trial. The leader of the USA is putting them on a list, no one knows exactly why and then people die. Many innocent. In a country far, far away. Oh sure, I really would like have such a "trial". Someone calls you a terrorist and then something you can not even see is killing you. The leader of Uldah wanted to declare us a terrorist. So if they would treat us like the USA, we would end up in Guantanamo or shredded by a drone. No, thanks.
